Pending legal review. This text describes how the site actually works and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. Before public launch it must be validated by Salvadoran data-protection counsel, together with the identity of the data controller.
What the site does not do
- No name, email or any other detail is requested. The only form is the feedback form, described below, which does not ask for them either.
- There are no accounts, registration or profiles.
- There are no payments or purchases.
- No localStorage or any other browser storage is used, and there are no tracking cookies. The only cookie is the one for private access to the pilots, described below.
- There is no behavioural analytics: no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording.
- No health data, diagnoses or reasons for consultation are requested or stored.
What does happen technically
- The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any hosting, its infrastructure processes technical request data — IP address, browser and device type, timestamp — in order to serve the pages, protect them and diagnose faults.
- Fonts, styles, images and code are served from this same domain. While browsing, your browser contacts no other site.
- If you share an episode using the share buttons, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook or X opens. That happens only if you click, and that service’s own policy applies from then on.
- When video episodes are published they will be embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, and load only if you press play.
- The pilot episodes have a private area for invited guests, protected by a shared password. When you enter, the server stores a single technical cookie (em_pilots) in your browser that says you have identified yourself; it lasts seven days, does not contain the password, does not identify any person and is used for nothing else. You can remove it with “End access”. The password you type is checked on the server and is not logged.
Your feedback
- At the end of each episode and in the footer you can leave us your feedback. It is optional, and no name, email or account is requested.
- The form is provided by Tally (tally.so), a form service based in Belgium that states it stores form data in Europe. Tally stores the responses on behalf of Enlace Mental. It loads only if you open the form; until then your browser does not contact it.
- When you open it, your browser connects to Tally, which receives the technical data of that connection (IP address, browser and device type, time) and applies its own privacy and cookie policy. Enlace Mental’s forms do not use the Tally features based on IP address, such as detecting your country or preventing repeat responses.
- Alongside your response, without you having to type them, we keep: the language, the page you answered from, the episode if there is one, and the time. If you answer from a page that does not exist, the address you typed is not kept.
- Please do not include medical, clinical or sensitive personal information. Responses are used only to improve Enlace Mental, are not answered individually and are not used for advertising.
Educational content, not clinical care
- Everything published on Enlace Mental is educational material.
- Reading, listening to or watching this content does not create a psychologist-patient relationship, and does not constitute diagnosis, assessment or treatment.
- If you need care, seek it from a professional who can know your situation.
If this changes
- This notice describes the site as it stands today. Adding a newsletter, a form, accounts, payments, courses or a real assistant would change what is processed, and this text will be updated before — not after — that happens.
